Outside of software engineering, I'm an author, certified yoga practitioner, and long-time runner. I write about technology, engineering leadership, and life built around clarity and practice.

Side projects

Things I've built or am rebuilding.

Side-projects that taught me something. Some shipped. Some are coming back around.

8–9 yrs ago

Coin-sized child-tracker

A tiny BLE device that slipped into a child's clothing. The companion phone app combined BLE for nearby distance & direction (~30m) with GPS for precise location. Built before "find-my-anything" was a category.

Rebuilding now

Auto photo-clusterer for trips

Tag a friend's face once — the app auto-clusters by face + location, creates a virtual album, and shares all relevant photos in one tap. Two-way: I get my photos from their roll too. Could extend to auto-collages and trip videos.
